Jean-Baptiste, a trained baker, is on hand every Tuesday in July and August. Depending on your arrival time, you can help him knead the dough, heat the oven, put the bread in the oven or take it out. This activity is included in the normal self-guided tour price. Bread will be sold on site by Jean-Baptiste, but no credit card payment is accepted.

Every Tuesday in July and August, from 11am to 5pm, Jean-Baptiste, a trained baker, enjoys working with flours to produce authentic, tasty breads. With flours from the nearby Moulin à Vent de la Borie, our ancient wood-fired oven will sublimate his work and produce exceptional bread.

Depending on when you arrive, you can help him knead the dough, heat the oven, put the bread in the oven or take it out. In all cases, he'll be happy to discuss his work and his breads with you.

You can come for the whole day, alternating visits with the major stages in the bread-making process, or go out to taste the sheep's milk cheeses at Fromagerie le Fédou, eat a sheep's milk ice-cream at Glacier Armand et Marie, visit the Keeha Céramiques workshop or the charcuterie at Ferme de la Pastour'elle in our hamlet of Hyelzas, and come back to buy your bread after baking.

This activity is included in the normal self-guided tour price. Payment on site (CB, cash, cheque, ANCV).

Bread will be sold on site by Jean-Baptiste, no credit card payment possible.
