Recoules de Fumas is located in Margeride, on the edge of the Aubrac plateau
Legend has it that Gargantua here would have drunk from the Colagne, one foot on the Truc de Montchiroux, another on that of Les Cayres. The villages of the commune are renowned for their tranquillity and authenticity.
