CENTRE HISTORIQUE DE CHANAC

The village of Chanac is bordered by the Lot, at the foot of the Causse de Sauveterre.

Chanac is the commune the richest in megaliths of Lozere, mainly dolmens. There are about 50 in Chanac and 180 in Lozere. Walking trails are laid out to discover the many megaliths, Gallo-Roman site and shops that testify to the various occupations through the ages.
