LA CAN DE L'HOSPITALET
Beautiful 2h30 walk on the Can de l'hospitalet, a small limestone plateau set on schist. It overlooks the Tarnon Valley, the French Valley, the Borgne Valley and the Mimente Valley. Allow around 3 hours for this outing. We'll let you know where to meet when you get in touch.
La Can de l'hospitalet is a small limestone plateau set in schist. It overlooks the Tarnon Valley, the French Valley, the Borgne Valley and the Mimente Valley. La Can is a geological crossroads, situated on the European watershed (Atlantic on the Tarnon and Mimente sides, Mediterranean on the Borgne and French Valleys sides).
Violaine proposes a beautiful walk of around 2h30, which starts on the plateau, with breathtaking views, and then progresses through the forest on the western slope before returning to the starting point.

Allow around 20 min from Sainte Croix Vallée Française, 10 min from Barre des Cévennes, 10 min from Le Pompidou, 25 min from Florac, 25 min from Saint Roman de Tousque.
Remember to take with you :
- Sufficient water (minimum 1L)
- Cap or hat
- Sun cream
- Shoes suitable for walking
