Héloïse Desrivières writes theater, poetry and engaged texts. She grew up in northern France, between an industrial town and the countryside. She studied literature in Paris, then trained as a writer at ENSATT, a leading theater school.
Héloïse Desrivières likes to write about encounters, nature and the things that bind us together. Her text "Qui a dit qu?il fallait être sage?" (Who said you had to be wise?) speaks of revolt, freedom and living together. She is also part of the Parlement de la Forêt in Chailluz, a project combining science and art, to give trees a voice.
She writes for the stage, music, the street and even digital games. She also translates texts from abroad. An encounter with an author of today, curious about the world, committed and full of imagination. As part of the Lire des auteurs-rice-s vivants program.
Reading co-hosted in Villefort by Scènes Croisées with the support of Loco-Motive 48
