FESTIVAL PHOT'AUBRAC / 24ÈME ÉDITION "TERRE DE PARTAGES"
PHOT?Aubrac is a festival of nature, animal and human photography, whose ambition is to promote the diversity of photographic views on our planet through environmental issues, biodiversity, climate, the sixth animal extinction, sustainable development?
The festival takes place every year in mid-September at some 15 sites around Nasbinals, Aubrac, Marchastel, Saint-Urcize and Laguiole. The event covers the Lozère, Aveyron and Cantal regions, with between 50 and 60 photographic exhibitions set up indoors and outdoors in emblematic locations, often inaccessible the rest of the year. Admission to the exhibitions is free.
The event also features evening screenings and conferences under a marquee, followed by meals (admission charged), as well as opportunities for exchange between photographers and the public. Supported by 80 volunteers and local residents, the festival welcomes around 25,000 visitors each year.
