Lozère, In the intimacy of wildlife.
Time, patience, luck too. Sought-after encounters, some of which were one-offs, some of which didn't happen at all. Other unexpected face-to-face encounters.
Learning to stay still until you blend into your surroundings, at dawn or dusk, in winter despite the freezing cold, at times when most humans are sheltered in their homes. All these elements have enabled me to produce these images, and I hope others to come.
These emotionally-charged encounters prompted me to become a "self-taught Sunday photographer", in order to keep track of them and share these fleeting moments with you.
Ever since childhood, I've been drawn to nature. Like an old companion, it's part of my intimacy. For me, it's a constant school of life, an inexhaustible source of wonder.
