The church of Saint-Caprais was established as a parish in 1314. Its origins would go back more to the end of the XIIth century

In Romanesque style, it is built entirely of large granite stones. Its bell tower-wall, dated from the 16th century, is in continuity with the massive and austere character of the building. The two-story bell tower with three semicircular bays dominates the west façade of the church, where the entrance portal is located. This is dominated by a ternary bay with only the central bay open. The dynamism of the building is provided by external buttresses that mark each bay.

Inside, the Saint-Caprais church has a nave with a pointed barrel vault and each arch rests on sculpted capitals. Classified as a Historic Monument in 1920, the church is remarkable for the painted decoration of its apse which dates from the beginning of the 18th century. The figuration shows God the Father surrounded by the four Evangelists.
