EGLISE ROMANE NOTRE DAME DU GOURG

The parish church, at the bottom of the village, is called N.D. du Gourg. From the street paved with Tarn pebbles, one enters it through a Romanesque portal with two arches. And the splendour of this nave and of the choir with its semi-circular vaults, of the 5 chapels, 4 of which are old, of the seven-sided apse decorated with arcades, lit by a semi-circular window, strikes and enchants the visitor, no less than the beautiful statues harmoniously arranged in the building. The most beautiful is a 15th century painted and gilded stone Saint Anne, holding on her left knee the virgin carrying the baby Jesus.
