The dating of this cross seems to be in keeping with the style of the flamboyant age. The 15th century saw an evolution in the sculpted representation of crosses. The arms of Christ become longer, the finials are well developed and the iconography becomes more precise. Indeed, on one side is represented a Christ on the cross and on the other a seated Virgin and Child.
