CHAPELLE ET ROCHER DU CHER

At the top of the village of Cher is a promontory where a Virgin and Child and a wrought iron cross are enthroned. At the foot of the promontory stands a small, forgotten chapel, the particularity of which lies in the section of its back wall. The promontory is only accessible on foot and for lovers of beautiful views, it offers a magnificent panorama of the Aubrac plateau.

At the top of the village of Cher, there is a rocky promontory overlooking the Aubrac plateau. There is a wrought iron cross bearing symbols of the Passion represented by the heart and the crown of thorns as well as a red metal Virgin and Child reminiscent of the Virgin who dominates the Puy-en-Velay

At the foot of this promontory is a small forgotten chapel made of granite stones which has the particularity of sharing its back wall with the rock to which it is attached.
