A fully guided tour, full of surprises!
The Musée des deux Albert is housed in the remains of the former neo-Gothic chapel of the Marvejols hospice-hospital.
It offers visitors the opportunity to discover and share in the work of a letterpress printer. This is the heritage of a workshop founded in the town in 1892 by your guide's great-grandfather, Daniel Castanier, and brought back to life before your very eyes.
He will also plunge you into the treasures of the city's Petite et Grande Histoire since the 11th century.
The tour continues with the discovery of numerous archival documents relating to the former woollen mills established from the 19th century onwards.
Last but not least, there's a room where you can discover how wool is processed by hand: carding, spinning and spinning wheels..
