VALLÉE DU LOT

The Lot River originates on the northern slope of Mont Lozère, crosses our canton like a serpentine and ends its course in the Garonne River

The architectural style is uncommon. The roofs look like the hulls of overturned boats

They are said to be "Philibert DELORME roof", named after the architect who was in the service of Henri II and Catherine de Medici. These roofs, mainly used for barns, made it possible to have a vast volume at low cost.
