Overlooking Marvejols, on the plateau of La Cham, the heritage of a livestock culture is clearly visible

As you cross the plateau in the middle of the thick dry stone walls, open your eyes and you will find, melted into the walls, the old shepherds' shelters, called "Chazelles". In the past, the shepherds used to keep their herds in their huts, which were entirely built by hand. No material was used to ensure the joint between the stones. These many stones came from the cultivated cereal plots.
