On the banks of the brook where the European Otter lives, a ripisylve of ash, poplar, willow and alder develops, characteristic of the water's edge.
The cliff areas allow the nesting of the Great Horned Owl whose Lozerian population is estimated between 20 and 30 pairs.
The woodlands are favourable to the Circaète Jean-le-Blanc for which the Lozere counts between 120 and 190 pairs.
