📍 Barjac
FALAISES DE BARJAC
Situated on Barjac, Balsièges, Cultures and Esclanèdes, this site is part of a complex of cliffs and streams belonging to the Lot Valley particularly favourable to the different bat populations. The presence of a mosaic of bocage environments, associating natural meadows, cultivated plots, orchards, pastures, ripisylves, hedges, woodland and cavities in the cliffs, constitutes a favourable biotope for many species of bats.
It is one of the main wintering grounds of the Greater Rhinolophus.
