House at the top of the village with shops and swimming in the Tarn nearby
The village of Les Vignes nestles in the hollow of the Tarn gorges, in such a sunny spot that vines and cherry trees once grew here, and wild lavender still perfumes the paths.
In summer, the cool waters of the Tarn are reflected in the cliffs overlooking the valley.
The dyke at the river?s edge offers swimmers an ideal spot for a dip. It is also a starting point for hiking and canoeing.
The house is named after its last permanent occupant in the 1930s.
In 2009, after a long period of neglect, we renovated the house to retain its character while providing all modern comforts.
In the village, you'll find a grocery store and several bars and restaurants.
