Beautiful loop around the Luech in a fault zone between schist and granite. A circuit with numerous viewpoints over the Luech valley, the impressive Trenze cliff and the surrounding valleys. The highlight is the Signal de Ventalon, where the reward is an exceptional 360° view of Mont Lozère, the Cévennes valleys, the Aigoual?and sometimes even the sea or the Alps. Cross the hamlet of Castagnols, with its remarkable built heritage, and pass through La Planche, where swimming is possible, before returning to Vialas.
A difficult route with a steep gradient. Beware of some technical sections.
