MAS-SAINT-CHELY ET LES CAUSSES

Starting from the church, this route takes you through the large areas affected by the fire in August 2003 (1400 ha). Most of the burnt areas have been "cleaned up", and the cut trees have been chipped into chips to be used in a boiler in Mende to produce heat and electricity. Off the circuit, you can visit the Saint Côme chapel, spared by the fire and now renovated.
