Most of the burnt areas have been "cleaned up", and the cut trees have been chipped into chips to be used in a boiler in Mende to produce heat and electricity. Most of the burnt areas have been "cleaned up", and the cut trees have been chipped into chips to be used in a boiler in Mende to produce heat and electricity. Off the circuit, you can visit the Saint Côme chapel, spared by the fire and now renovated.
