LA MONTÉE DES BOISSETS

A relatively short itinerary, but with a substantial climb. The warm-up is quick, with a few strides through the charming village of Saint Enimie before tackling the climb to Les Boissets. A route that could be considered a vertical half-kilometer, with almost 500m of positive ascent in less than 3 kilometers. The climb is a little technical, rocky for the most part, but the splendid views over the Gorges du Tarn are well worth the effort. The arrival at the Boissets farm, a 17th-century hamlet with typical Caussenarde architecture, now a Causses et Gorges interpretation center, marks the end of most of the ascent. The descent takes place on the old Saint Enimie road, a rolling track that allows you to rest a little.
