Once out of the village, the trail climbs gently, between stream and meadow. The slope steepens before you reach the hamlet of Le Bouchet. We cross the village to continue our ascent on the GR. A few hundred metres before the Col de la Loubière, we leave the GR and turn right. The descent begins on a wide track, then takes narrower paths through the forest to Chadenet. The junction between Chadenet and Le Crouzet is by road (1.5km), but don't worry, there aren't many cars! At Crouzet, a pleasant path along the banks of the Lot takes us back to Bagnols.
