Situated in the AUBRAC Regional Natural Park, on the Crueize river, the Lac du Moulinet is home to a remarkable biodiversity which makes it an unmissable "nature photo" spot.

Nature lovers, come and enjoy the seasonal atmosphere, the absolutely incredible fauna and flora.

From the shores or pontoons on the lake, in all seasons, mingle with the Mallards, observe the Otter, the Snipe and with a bit of luck the Crested Tit, the King Kite or the Common Snipe

The trail around the lake reveals the specific flora of its peat bogs and watersides.

Classified in 1st category, the lake is home to rainbow and brown trout, pike, perch, tench, chub and small white-water cyprinids which make it a popular place for fishermen.

How to get there

By car, take exit 37 "LE BUISSON" off the A75 freeway, then take the D809 towards "Saint Sauveur de Peyre".
The lake is served by the LIO tourist shuttle line 260 MENDE-MARVEJOLS-NASBINALS on Wednesdays and Fridays (bicycles allowed) in July and August.
