CHAOS GRANITIQUES DE RUNES

On one of the slopes of Mont-Lozère, upstream from the village of Runes, departmental road 35 winds its way through a landscape curiosity: magnificent granite chaos. These chaos are made up of granite blocks of volcanic origin dated at about 310-315 million years ago. These are the most charismatic rock massifs of Mont-Lozère.
