The Trianon Cinema is located on the remains of the former House of the Lords of Peyre in Marvejols. The building then housed the Chapel of the Penitents, then, becomes in 1808 the Town Hall. The building was dedicated to culture on 17 May 1914: inaugurated as the Municipal Theatre, it remained so until the 1930s when it was replaced by the Cinema.
The standard meter fixed on the end of the Trianon Cinema's façade dates from 1795. It was originally discovered by chance in the basement of the small square behind the Porte du Théron, and was later placed on the façade of the cinema.
