CHATEAU DU PARC NATIONAL DES CEVENNES

The Cevennes National Park, inhabited in its heart by 800 permanent inhabitants, is a protected area among the 11 national parks of France

It ensures the protection of natural environments and cultural heritage inherited from 5000 years of human civilizations

It shelters on 0,5% of the national territory, 50% of the French biodiversity which it knows and protects through inventories of follow-up, actions of reintroduction of species (as the bearded vulture), of watch and monitoring and of respect of the particular regulation which applies in its heart

The Park accompanies the sustainable development of the territory: support for sustainable tourism, virtuous agriculture, sustainable forest management, support for communities

It welcomes and educates the public through animations, interventions in schools, discovery trails, publications, exhibitions and development of the territory.
